Posted by LetsLoop on January 6, 2017, 11:39 amIt's been over a year since @Ed Sheeran announced to the world that he'd be "taking a break from my phone, emails and all social media for a while", but the multi-platinum singer-songwriter is officially back. And since it's been a while, he's decided to share not one but two new tracks from his upcoming 3rd album.
Shape Of You was co-written with @Snow Patrol's Jonny McDaid and will join Castle on the Hill on the much-anticipated ÷, which is due later this year (no date yet, sadly) and follows up 2014's x and his 2011 debut, + (kudos on sticking with the maths theme!). Here's what he had to say about the new singles:
"Hello 2017! I’ve been working hard on the new material and I hope you can be as excited about it as I am. I really wanted to show two different sides to my music that I’m equally as passionate about and I just knew I wanted to roll with two songs at the same time. I’m absolutely buzzing to be back."
