I've been working on a playlist of songs that either have been played on Doctor Demento's radio show (as off this writing, still streaming online at drdemento.com for a small fee) or songs that I rather imagine would fit, tho I could be wrong. Figured I should try to include Doctor Demento's introduction, in case y'all wanted to get the feel for the actual show. However, the introduction I remember is actually an instrumental version of Pico and Sepulveda with Doctor D talking over it as DJs are keen to do. I found an example of how all Westwood One Radio Network distributed episodes would go. This link works as of this writing youtu.be/VuDtkt3lKsU but may or may not play in your region of the world. Copyright laws and all that jazz. Ivor Biggun's other work has been played on Dr. D's show over the years and I guess he wrote and recorded this tune as an homage but I don't know whether or not it was ever used on the show. This does include many references to other contributors to Doctor Demento and if you listen to this whole playlist you may catch some of the references. This playlist pales in comparison to any actual random episode of The Doctor Demento Show. If this whets your appetite I would encourage you to check out drdemento.com for yourself. This is an unsolicited endorsement. I don't get any money for pointing you in Dr. D's direction. I rather imagine it would be wrong of me to make this silly playlist and then NOT direct you to what inspired it.

I should have also pointed out that Ivor Biggun's real name is Robert Cox, and that his friends call him "Doc." As I understand it he still plays in pubs around the Suffolk area in Great Britain.
