vomitsunami looped a song

I'm not sure why this song hits me as hard as it does, since I can't
understand a word of it...But I find it stuck in my head often, at very
odd times. Aziza Brahim is a Sahrawi singer, born in a refugee camp in
Algeria, and connected to the vast, impossibly-fertile desert blues/rock
scene of the Western Sahara (Tinariwen, Terakaft, etc.) This song is
named after another refugee camp: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gdeim_Izi....
As the world continues to heat up, both literally and metaphorically,
we're going to hear a lot more from refugees, whether we want to or not.
Might as well listen to them, and try to understand... #farawaysounds, #vomitcoverstheearth
