Posted by LetsLoop on March 10, 2017, 9:00 pm Different Now is the lead single to @Chastity Belt's much-anticipated 3rd album, I Used To Spend So Much Time Alone, which is out June 2nd and follows up 2015's Time To Go Home. The single is accompanied by a Bobby McHugh-directed video that pays tribute to fellow Seattle band @Temple Of The Dog's 1991 classic, Hunger Strike.
If you're new to Chastity Belt and would like to hear more, we highly recommend listening to Joke, Time To Go Home, Lydia and Cool Slut.
P.S. If you're not familiar with Temple Of The Dog, it was a band conceived by @Soundgarden's Chris Cornell in 1990 as a tribute to his late friend Andrew Wood, the lead singer of @Malfunkshun and @Mother Love Bone. It featured Stone Gossard on rhythm guitar, Jeff Ament on bass guitar (both ex-members of Mother Love Bone), Mike McCready on lead guitar, and Matt Cameron on drums, with @Eddie Vedder contributing lead and backing vocals. They only released one album, 1991's Temple of the Dog, before breaking up in 1992 and only achieved wider recognition after Vedder, Goddard, Ament, McCready & Cameron found success with @Pearl Jam.
