It's hard to improve on a track that sounds just as good today as it did when it was released over twenty two years ago, but Burial does an excellent job of breathing new life into it just as we're all getting excited about Goldie's long-awaited (19 years!) 3rd album.

Inner City Life originally appeared on Goldie's seminal debut album, Timeless, which was followed 3 years later in 1998 by Saturnz Return. After a long 19 year wait, Goldie will finally release his much-anticipated follow up, The Journey Man, on June 16th.
