Here in the UK that is marked by the release of the John Lewis Christmas ad, which is always designed with 2 goals in mind: (1) to make you cry; and (2) to make you spend all your money in one their shops. In 2013, @Lily Allen covered Somewhere Only We Know by @Keane in an ad that brought back a lot of nightmares for anyone who saw Watership Down as a kid; and in 2014 @Tom Odell covered Real Love by @The Beatles, a version that made us collectively lose any sympathy we gave him after getting an unprecedented 0/10 in #NME for his debut album. This year it's AURORA's turn, with her cover of Half the World Away by @Oasis in a video that's less Watership Down (phew) and more Up. So, what do you all think?
