Here's what Luke Steele had to say about their impressive new Nobumichi Asai-directed video for Way To Go:
"Basically 500 sticky dots coated with a reflective film are placed strategically on a mapping grid on our faces. When the camera rolls and we sing, move our heads, laugh or have any facial movement the dots move and provide data to the computer. So once you have this motion capture information, the possibilities are endless. Faces can melt, expand, twist morph, explode or simply disappear into vapour."
Btw, if you're wondering why this track sounds familiar, On Our Way Home was recently used in a Citroën TV ad that ran in the UK, France, Italy, and Spain.
