Halsey is Ashley Nicolette Frangipane, a 20 year old from New Jersey who first burst on the scene in 2014 when her song Ghost went viral on SoundCloud. Following all the hype, Astralwerks quickly snapped her up and released her debut EP, Room 93, October last year. Since then she's gone on to tour with @The Kooks & @Imagine Dragons and even had the dubious honour(?) of being the most tweeted about artist at SXSW this year. So, does she deserve all the hype?
