Posted by LetsLoop on August 22, 2017, 11:05 am Mess Of Wires is the raucous opening track to Canadian noise-rockers @METZ's upcoming 3rd album, Strange Peace, which is out September 22nd and follows up 2015's II.Here's what frontman Alex Edkins had to say about the band's latest single:
"It is common to feel that your thoughts are inconsequential, a drop in the echo-chamber, but silence can be worse. Speak out about what you believe in, loud and often. In the spirit of this song, I want to strongly condemn the violent and hateful actions of the white-supremacists and neo-nazis in Charlottesville, VA. this past week. Their vile attempts to incite division and fear through intimidation and violence have no place in this world."
Strange Peace is produced by @Big Black & @Shellac member and @Pixies, @Nirvana & @PJ Harvey producer Steve Albini and will also feature the recently released Drained Lake and the excellent lead single, Cellophane.
