Posted by LetsLoop on June 15, 2017, 4:32 pm It's been over four years since the last @Queens of the Stone Age album, but the rock legends are finally back! The Way You Used To Do is the lead single to their upcoming 7th album, Villains, which is out August 25th and follows up 2013's …Like Clockwork. Here's what frontman Josh Homme had to say about the new album:
"The title Villains isn't a political statement. It has nothing to do with Trump or any of that shit. It's simply (1) a word that looks fantastic and (2) a comment on the three versions of every scenario: yours, mine and what actually happened. Everyone needs someone or something to rail against—their villain—same as it ever was. You can't control that. The only thing you can really control is when you let go."
Villains was produced by the legendary @Amy Winehouse, @Bruno Mars and @Lady Gaga producer @Mark Ronson, who has brought his unique, "untempo" sound. Or as Homme puts it, the album sounds like: "a panther in the trees leaping out of the darkness".
