Posted by LetsLoop on January 13, 2017, 8:00 amI See You is the third studio album from indie-pop trio @The xx; it was released on 13 January 2017 via the Young Turks label. The album follows up 2013's Coexist and their #MercuryPrize winning debut album, xx.
The band began work on the album in May 2014 alongside frequent collaborator and producer Rodaidh McDonald. The band claim that the sound and aesthetic of I See You has been heavily influenced by @Jamie xx, aka band member Jamie Smith, who released his debut solo album In Colour to critical acclaim in May 2015.
In the lead up to the release of I See You the band shared two singles: Say Something Loving and the lead single On Hold.
