In the first single from his forthcoming album "Sob Rock," scheduled to drop July 16, singer-songwriter John Mayer takes a trip back to the '80s for some #YachtRock on "Last Train Home."
The video, directed by Cameron Duddy and Harper Smith, is an homage to Guns N’ Roses’ summer of ’88 MTV staple, “Sweet Child o’ Mine.” Right down to a canine cameo.
The song, in addition to Mayer on guitar and vocals, features former Toto percussionist Lenny Castro, former Toto touring member Greg Phillinganes on keyboards, and Highwomen member Maren Morris on backing vocals.
